Sausalito is conveniently located just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco and offers several transportation options.
AIRPORTS
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest major airport, just a 30 minute drive to Sausalito (without traffic).
While Oakland International Airport (OAK) is slightly further, it is still a convenient option!
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From San Francisco (via Golden Gate Bridge):
Take Highway 101 North across the Golden Gate Bridge.
Take the Alexander Avenue West exit towards Sausalito.
Follow Alexander Avenue into downtown Sausalito.
From the North (e.g., Marin County):
Take Highway 101 South.
Take the Sausalito/Marin City exit.
Follow signs for Sausalito.
Note: Traffic on the Golden Gate Bridge and in Sausalito can get heavy, especially on weekends and during peak hours. Plan on accommodating for extra travel time.
RIDESHARE
Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available from both SFO and OAK, as well as within San Francisco, Sausalito, and the surrounding areas. Use your preferred app to request a ride.

Acqua Hotel is a short drive from downtown, and has many rooms that overlook the beautiful bay!
Also a quick walk to our venue, Casa Madrona has a phenomenal spa if you are interested in some pampering!

The Spinnaker: This restaurant boasts 270-degree panoramic views of the Bay, making it exceptionally romantic, especially around sunset. They specialize in seafood and offer a traditional fine dining experience. The Spinnaker also has banquet facilities for larger events.
